Bridal Commissions
Alice’s veil (above) is one of my favourite commissions ever! When I see this photo it brings a wee tear to my eye as she looks so beautiful.
Design
Alice had a good idea of what she wanted when I first met her. Some people may think it ‘very modern’ but it is a Victorian design and what looks like a simple veil in the photograph is actually quite elaborate in real life!
Bridal Fabric
The veil consisted of two different types of tulle, embroidered lace and Swarovski crystals. Alice loved it so much she planned to wear it all day, so in the evening the trailing veil was pinned up, making an elegant headpiece that was easier to wear on the dancefloor! Alice eventually removed the veil when she went to bed!

I first saw one of Pea’s hats in a shop in Glasgow and just thought it was fabulous. Since then I’ve had several hats custom made by Pea each totally different but equally gorgeous, and the most spectacular, my bridal veil. Pea was amazing in taking a few suggestions from me and making them into my dream veil. She is so good at listening to what you say, looking at your dress and accessories, then coming up with the perfect fit!! I was also delighted with the beautiful, intricate head bands she made for my bridesmaids, the cutest little mini veil for my flower girl, and a stunning pill box for my mum!
