Photography

The past week in Pea Cooper Millinery world has all been centred around the world of photography.

First, my Autumn/ Winter 2011 collection gets shot for the first edition of Scottish Textiles (http://www.scottishtextiles.org/) brand new magazine (due to be released soon), then the same collection and a few other hats travel all the way to New York where they are being used in a photo shoot for Russian Vogue, with the fantastic Alexi Lubomirski (http://www.alexilubommirski.com/) taking the photos and Ekaterina Mukhina, Russian Vogue’s Fashion Director is organising it!

Back in Scotland a different set of hats go to The Sunday Herald for a nice wee piece about Scottish designers that will be in the paper in a few weeks. I’ll keep you posted on that.

Daily Express

All exciting stuff! But my favourite event of the week involved a 3 hour photo shoot with a brilliant photographer called James Williamson (www.jameswilliamsonphotography.co.uk). He was taking photos of me for an article thats going to be in the Daily Express. Generally I don’t like getting my photo taken but we had such fun and the photos look great. He’s even put me on his website! Go have a wee look! His photos are fab. I especially love the portrait of John Byrne.

The Unite exhibition is still on at The Collins Gallery, Glasgow. It is showcasing some wonderful works of Art and some of my hats are there too!

My countdown to the Royal Wedding begins now. Can’t wait to see all the hats and of course Kate’s dress!

That’s all for just now!

Lots of love
